-	It covers a distance of 800 km. (497 miles) and a cumulative elevation gain of 18.000 m. (59.000 ft.). All in 16 alpine passes.
-	Traverse the French Alps from Menton near Nice to Thonon les Bains near Geneva (Lake Geneva). From the Sea to the Big Lake.
-	16 alpine passes. some above 2.000 meters high: Col de la Madone (the one who gave the name to the Trek bike used by Armstrong) , Col de Braus, Col de Turini, Col Saint Martin, Col de la Bonette, Col de Vars, Col de l´Izoard, Col du Lautaret, Col de Sarenne, Col du Glandon, Col de l´Iseran, Cormet de Roselend, Col des Saisies, Col des Aravis, Col de la Colombière, Col de Joux-Plane.

-	It covers a distance of 880 km. (547 miles) and a cumulative elevation gain of 19.600 m. (64.300 ft.). All in 19 alpine passes.
-	Traverse the French Alps from Thonon les Bains near Geneva (Lake Geneva) to Menton near Nice (Mediterranean Sea). From the Big Lake to the Sea.
-	19 alpine passes. 7 above 2.000 meters (6.562 ft.) high: Col des Gets, Col de la Colombière, Col de l'Aravis, Col des Saisies, Cormet de Roselend, Col de L´Iseran, Col du Télégraphe, Col du Galibier, Alpe d'Huez, Col du Lautaret, Col de l´Izoard, Col de Vars, Col de la Bonette, Col de la Cayolle, Croix de Valberg, Col de la Couillole, Col Saint Martin, Col de Turini, Col de Castillon

Who is this designed for?
-	This week long, pure cycling tour, is a challenge for any experienced cyclist who wish to ride above the 20000m altitude and traverse the French Alps in a pure cyclist adventure. Experience the local culture, taste the remarkable cuisine and ride through one of the most scenic regions in Europe. It is recommend at least a 3.000 Km. hill rides before this tour.

Includes:
-	Transport from Caldes de Montbui (30 Km from Barcelona) to Thonon and from Menton to Caldes de Montbui
-	1 night accommodation in Caldes de Montbui, the day before the bus trip to Thonon or Menton.
-	8 nights accommodation including breakfasts and dinners in the French Alps. All lodging in small charming hotels, every day in a different place.
-	Seven days guided bike route with support vehicle all the time. Spanish, English and French speaking guides.
-	Refreshments and snacks on the rides route + picnic lunches.
-	Bike jersey and tubular BUFF®. Souvenir of the tour.
-	Folder with maps and tourist information.
-	Detailed route map, profiles and a pictures.

NOT Included:
-	Food during transport from/to Caldes de Montbui.

Dates 2009
July: 15th afternoon 16th 17th to 21th 22th 23th 24th	Meeting in Caldes de Montbui (30km from Barcelona). Transport to Menton. We will leave at 7AM. Five bike stages. Free day to see the Tour de France in the French Alps. Last bike stage. Transport from Thonon to Caldes de Montbui.
August: 14th afternoon 15th 16th al 22th 23th	Meeting in Caldes de Montbui (30km from Barcelona). Transport to Menton. We will leave at 7AM. Seven bike stages. Transport from Thonon to Caldes de Montbui.

Price:

Both dates, both tours have the same price: 1.260€ per person.

La reserva quedará formalizada a la recepción del formulario de inscripción individual y de 300€ por persona como paga y señal. El pago de la cantidad restante se deberá hacer 30 días antes del inicio de la travesía (15 de junio o 15 de julio). Si una reserva se anula hasta 60 días antes del inicio de la travesía, esta paga y señal se devolverá íntegramente. En el caso de anular la reserva dentro de los 60 días previos al inicio de la travesía esta cantidad no será reembolsada.
